Our Story
With years of serving families and leaders, our team saw the unmet need to equip families with practical consulting focused on generational success. We first launched the ministry of Legacy Stone to serve families just beginning their journeys, and 7th Gen Consulting formed from this effort to go deeper with families and their unique needs.

Bill High is best known for three words: Family, legacy, and generosity. He’s led workshops for families around the country on the essentials of family legacy with an emphasis on resetting the biblical definition of family. He practiced law with one of the largest law firms in Kansas City, then founded one of the largest Christian foundations in the country before focusing his efforts in the family legacy consulting area. He’s the author and co-author to several books, including the recently released Leadership NOT by the Book with David Green. At 7th Gen Consulting, Bill is noted for his work around the country working with families to help them establish a multi-generational legacy plan.
Tom Blaylock - Managing Director / Consultant
Tom, with 12 years of pastoral experience followed by over two decades coaching executives and their teams, serves as our Director of Training. He specializes in equipping high net worth families to flourish today as they move toward generational impact tomorrow. Tom’s direct work with families centers around deepening relational health, family governance, and investing strategically in rising generations.
He co-authored Marriage on Mission with his wife, Sandi, in 2016. An ICF-certified coach and MBTI Certified Practitioner, Tom enjoys writing, tennis, and beach walks with Sandi and Rocky (their Boykin Spaniel).
Tom and Sandi live in South Carolina, have three adult children, and threegrandchildren.
Drew Scholl - Managing Director / Consultant
A practitioner at heart, Drew is a Co-Owner of a $100M+ multi-generational family enterprise, where he served more than 20 years in executive leadership. He currently chairs the Family Council and multiple governance committees, stewarding alignment across ownership and family. He is also Founder & CEO of Leaders On Fire, a coaching and technology company focused on equipping leaders to integrate Jesus into all domains of life.
Drew holds a Certification in Complex Family Enterprises and Wealth from Columbia Business School and a Master of Theological Studies from Westminster Seminary. As an author, speaker, musician, and entrepreneur, Drew blends creativity, strategy, and heart in all he does. Outside of work, he’s a husband, father of four, grandfather, and Ironman triathlete, always ready for an adventure in both business and life. His leadership is rooted in biblical principles, personal growth, discipline, and adventure.
He has a passion to equip leaders and families to integrate faith, drive clarity through healthy relationships and governance, and build lasting legacies. He is the author of All In: A Revolutionary Call to Missional Leadership (2024).
